We are the Maaziah Mountain band!  Maaziah Mountain began performing as a band in 2002.  Originally a family band, the group still includes founding members, Jim and April Upton, and is now joined by Aaron Taylor and Nehemiah Ward.  Maaziah Mountain's unique sound can be attributed to the fact that almost all of the music they perform is their very own original work.  That music has been described by many as a warm blend of folk and bluegrass, combining the story-telling flair of Gordon Lightfoot and the down home roots music of Alison Krauss and Union Station.
